BuildTech recently completed a stunning split-level open plan kitchen and lounge renovation, which involved the construction of a 30sqm single-storey rear extension, significantly enhancing the existing home and making the most of the site's sloping nature.
The design uniquely positioned the kitchen on the upper level, maximising natural light into the cosy lounge area below. To achieve this, we installed stylish skylights and long rear windows, ensuring the space is filled with light while providing an inviting atmosphere.
The full project included a rear single-storey extension, a flat roof with a skylight, and a brand new kitchen that combines modern aesthetics with functionality. We also updated new floor finishes throughout the home to create a smooth flow between the spaces.
To ensure safety and efficiency, the renovation included a complete electrical rewire and plumbing upgrades. New windows and doors were fitted to enhance insulation and security, while expert carpentry work added the perfect finishing touches to the design.
Additionally, drainage adjustments were made to accommodate the new layout, and a bathroom refurb was carried out to improve functionality. Finally, thorough painting and decorating throughout the space gave the home a polished, modern look.
